World Rat Day 2021 + Shop Launch

Happy #WorldRatDay of 2021!

We are beyond excited to announce that Vancouver Rat Club's online store has OFFICIALLY launched in celebration of World Rat Day!

World Rat Day was founded in 2002 by a group of pet rat enthusiasts (much like us!) who wanted to challenge the stigma surrounding rats. Rat fanciers all over the globe wanted to give them the celebration they truly deserve. This day aims to spread positive representation for these animals, and promote their care and welfare!

All of the proceeds for our online store will go directly into funding future rescue efforts; it will help VRC purchase live traps for domestic rats found outdoors, kitten-milk-replacement for young fosters, food & supplies, cages, travel carriers, toys and bedding.

Through the online store we hope to generate enough funds and awareness to support the rescue rats of BC, as well as other local rescue organizations within the province.
